Love it! This photo would have looked great at the top of my recent story about Parisian cafés! Veronique

I love that people want so much to sit outside at a Paris Cafe that they'll wrap up in winter coats and scarves to do it.

Le temps s'est peut-être arrêté dans la rue vieille du temple.

Except from the girl's hair (in older times, women did not let hair free) and the moto in the back right.Otherwise, yes, a great out of time picture of "the philosophes"!

Very philosophical, indeed. But then again, isn't everything in Black & White?

The timelessness is more due to the lack of color than the patrons.

Ah! Paris is timeless - I would have to stop for a cafe creme - right there on the corner with my chair facing out!!

Looks like you've been having entirely too much fun. Café hopping, crunching a macaron or two, sipping champagne... only in Paris !

You're right, Virginia. I don't see anything in this picture that gives it away.

My first thoughts were timeless and classic and that was before I saw the title. Excellent shot!

Oh, Virginia, I've just an hour or so looking at your beautiful blog and soaking it all in! All your photos are brilliant. This one is outstanding! This photo sums up Paris for me, - it is timeless - could be Hemingway's Paris! Thank you for leaving such a lovely comment on my blog BTW - greatly appreciated! I don't know if you read the part about me living in France but I lived in Paris for a few years and like you left a small piece of my heart there when I moved back to Ireland. Your photos brought so many memories rushing back, it's been a lovely trip down memory lane! thank you, adding you to my blog roll so I don't miss any more! Sharon
