La boutique des petits gâteaux

I don't know that I've ever found a patisserie that offered only cookies.  Too bad they were closed.  I spotted several I would have liked to taste.

Merci to my faithful reader Harriet and  blogger Richard Moisan for the tricky translation!

Une superbe photo qui me ramène un peu à mon enfance... Des "gâteaux-biscuits" comme autrefois et si délicieux...
Gros bisous et attention au doux plaisir de quelques minutes qui s'attarde ensuite des mois sur les hanches!!!

They unusual aren't they? They look rather large, and a bit un-French.

OH YES, my last day in Paris, we had just discovered LE NÔTRE, and too bad we were unable to eat anything from there...we were running to catch our plane!

BONNE JOURNÉE! Anita

For some reason, I rarely crave cookies in Paris. That may be because I'm stuffing my face with all manner of macarons, eclairs and the like. Of course, looking at photos of them from Miami, now I want some!

That looks really great. Is that the real name of the place or just your description?

Oh no, that's too tempting!
:)
God bless you!

They definitely look yummy—and big enough to share. (But I'm still saving my calories for a macaron.)

I'm with Starman! What's the name and address of this place!

I would have such fun choosing treats to feature along with some Champagne or wine!

This is definitely NOT the kind of photo I should be looking at before dinner. Mmmmm . . .

Sorry, I have no idea the name. It's in the Marais on a side street I think.

PS, I dont' crave cookies either but I think I stopped for this photo because it was closed and you could see all the shelving as well as the big fat cookies in the window so well! :)

And I'll be buying some macarons here at the LA Farmer's Market on Saturday. :)
