Nothing says Art Nouveau like a Metro station.

I didn't know there was one of these in Montmartre. I went all the way to Port Dauphine to photograph one.

Ah, Hector Guimard... his work is so fabulously beautiful. I remember long ago tracking down some of the houses he helped design in Paris also, there are some lovely architectural details out there by Guimard if you can find them... But the metro entrances are quintessential... timeless...
