The Stage Crew - 100 French Strangers Challenge

French Stranger #44

At the end of my stay in Paris last August, I reluctantly took my last stroll through the Palais Royal. I was a bit disappointed that the beautiful Fountains of Pol Bury had been covered with a stage and bleachers. I stopped and had a really nice chat with this gentleman. He explained that that they were preparing for an upcoming dance performance. When I asked for his photograph, I got this nice "toast"! Another member of the stage crew gave me a big smile for the camera as well. As much as I love Paris and want it to remain the same as I remember it, I know that each time I visit, the city will be brimming over with the most fabulous and creative events for me to enjoy. Paris je t'aime!

I have previously posted photos of the Pol Bury Fountains here.

Your French Stranger #45 reminds me of a young Peter Allen! {Not sure if that means anything to you, V, but he was an Australian songwriter/entertainer and former hubby of Liza Minnelli.}

Wow, #45 was quite the ham! It's funny as I write this, I wonder, yet doubt, if the French would call him un jambon :-)

#44 looks like someone I'd love to chat with. So I keep playing my "Learn French in the Car" CD!

Petrea,
Actually he spoke English! I have "Learn French in Your Car" too. Only problem is I can speak it in my car, but when I get out ,not so much! :)

DW,
That's hilarious. Maybe a French ami will tell us how they would say that!

Shell,
Don't know him but this guy was charming!

It's too bad the French are so aloof and arrogant.

You're so friendly, V. Don't you wish you could send all your strangers their link?

Paula ,
I do! Actually the top guy cheered ME up that day. I needed it and he was just the nicest.

Starman,
I'm not quite sure if these guys were French but I will have to say AGAIN, that the French have always, always been so very kind, friendly and helpful. Why would I keep going back if they weren't ??? My French Strangers speak for themselves. Paris je t'aime!!!!

Oh these are great. I have a hard time photographing people for some reason. That's why I stick to food.

Next time I'm in Paris I'll give it a try!
