Les bateaux
The first time I saw these boats tied together at the Bois de Boulogne, was a fabulous exhibit of Yann Arthus-Bertrand's, Paris From Above. Luckily mon ami Peter Olson was along and as we left the exhibit, we made our way on foot to this very spot. As the weather turns warm and hopefully sunny in Paris, I'm sure the Parisians will find there way here for picnics and boat rides.

Tied Up in Paris
Well our clever blog friend Keith, from A Taste of Garlic, will have a field day with this post title! Actually, I've spent the better part of the last few days creating some new Paris calendars for 2011. I now have a color one for sale on Zazzle ( see the widget on the sidebar), but decided I'd try Red Bubble's calendar as well. There, I'm designing Paris en Noir et Blanc. I found some BW images I've not shared with you, so today we go back to the Bois de Boulogne. Nice memories of a Sunday afternoon spent wandering around the beautiful little lake last year. Enjoy.

Row , Row, Row
Another take on the rowboats at the Bois de Boulogne.
I'm joining the terrific photographers at Ailenis's Monochrome Weekly again this week. Please visit and see their fabulous work!
Oh my! My dear amie Shellsheree has done it again. She's used yet another one of my photographs for a delightful Shellsherree watercolor. This time it's macarons. Oh I love them so, and I love her artwork just as much. Merci my dear friend for this honor.
