Sunday Paris Church Series - Notre Dame de Paris

While photographing Notre Dame organist Vincent Dubois last November, he was kind enough to take Mary and me to this "gallery" to photograph. This is an area that the public is not allowed and was empty except for some pews along the side. This allowed for some wonderful photographs with an unusual point of view.

I've been following your blog for 2 or 3 years now, and notice that you occasionally mention (& photograph) pipe organs in Paris. Are you, perhaps, a pipe organ junkie like me? (Vincent Dubois, BTW, is an astounding talent, and well deserves his new role as titulaire at NDP. I have never seen an organist who makes the staggeringly difficult look so easy).

Biggish, I"m not an organ junkie but do love to photograph organs etc in Paris. Vincent will be here for our Religious Arts Festival the week of the 5th. I will look forward to presenting a Sacred Spaces of Paris during the week and getting to hear him play a recital and speak about Notre Dame that week!
