Sunday Church Series - Église Saint-Etienne-du-Mont

The other day, a friend reminded me of the movie, MIDNIGHT IN PARIS. I took this photograph in the pouring rain early one evening in Paris. These are the steps beside Saint Étienne du Mont,  where the Gil was picked up each evening at midnight.

I recognized those steps as the ones in Midnight in Paris.... I thought of the movie the second I saw them.

I don't think I've every seen them in real life.

That is a wonderful homage to the movie. And thanks for enlightening me on where that scene was shot. I never would have guessed. But then I've never been there at night.

Timeless. Admittedly, I have never seen the movie.

Great pic. I just watched the movie again last week, it's so fun to recognize the scenes around the city.
