Sadly the new owner of Le Reminet has painted the façade a dark red. I thought the purple was pretty chic. Regardless, the food is still so good and the best meal for your euros!

Ha! I looked this up and said to my wife "hey, that must be close to Montebello". Sure enough, google earth puts me outside Le Reminet, and literally turning 90 degrees left (toward the Seine), shows our favorite little bistro not 30 feet away. It was the first bistro we went to when we young and on our first big trip together. We've found new favorites since, but it holds a place in our hearts :~). Small world, eh?

I didn't even know the ownership changed.... This is probably my all-time Parisian favourite - never disappointed, always immacculate food, friendly service, if the cooking & service stay the same, I'll be hrilled to bits - never mind the colours.... I actually didn't like that much the violet and prefer the funky red!
