Proof...


 that Paris has the heartiest geraniums on the planet.  Mid November and they were still spilling over the balcons with reckless abandon!

I love the flowers in Parisian windowboxes. I can't resist commenting, however, that if properly cared for, potted geraniums will continue to live and flower until the first freeze, which in sizable parts of the Northern Hemisphere (including the city in which I live) often has not yet occurred in mid-November. I know, right? Then again, on such a voluptuous balcony on such a gorgeous façade—how could they do anything but thrive?
