Copper Pot With Corks

In 2009, we spent a week at La Bonne Etoile in Fontaine- Fourches, FR. Kippy and Jerome had this fabulous copper pot of corks that caught the morning sun. I'm ashamed at how many times I photographed it before it got it just right, for me at least.

The light, shadows, corks, copper and the pot's patina combine to make a wonderful image Virginia.

You're not fooling me. This was the poubelle in your room after a week of wine tasting. In any case, it's a beautiful shot !

Love it - perfect shot! As a cork collector it especially appeals to me & it's perfectly OK if you drank them all.

A wonderful combination, and it looks like something out of time.

I have an old clay vessel full of corks on the dining room table - it's getting over-filled lately! ;-)

The good thing about having your own blog is that you can post the successes and delete the mistakes.

You're just posting all sorts of things I love this weekend -- you can add copper and corks to France, blue and cats!
