Très Parisian!

Today, we return to Paris from the countryside.  For you Paris lovers I offer... the Café St. Regis.  It has recently been sold and remodeled. I was a bit disappointed to hear from the waiter that all that looks "vintage" is faux. It is still a great photo op and we had a nice dinner there our last night.

Des bistrots authentiques dans l'ile St Louis, c'est aussi rare que de vrais peintres place du tertre.

I guess they weren't expecting a crowd.

Wonderful composition (faux or not)!

Ohhhh :/
I love that place and I have taken umpteen photos (and yes one similar to yours... as usual!)
This is a disappointment to me too - but I still look forward to another visit - I wanna see for myself what has changed and what not.
Lovely compo, V!

Looks like GOOD vintage, and yes, it's disappointing but still... wonderful!

The real thing is better, but you have to give them credit for well-done "faux." Bon weekend, V!

Don't care if it's faux, it's pretty and it's Paris.

They've done a pretty realistic job here Virginia..if you didn't know oui! Still looks like a great spot to people watch.

It is certainly great looking faux.

I like this corner.
And I could easily have spent time there.
