Sunday Church Series - Saint-Germain l'Auxerrois

This is one of the most beautiful churches in Paris in my opinion.  While we were there we were able to hear the bells which I regret I was unable to capture with my phone.  I took this photograph from across the street as we left the Louvre.  The sculpture in the foreground is Hautes Herbes, by Beatrice Guichard.

Je ne sais pas si la sculpture est réellement belle, mais grâce à votre capture photographique elle apporte cet effet intéressant.
Gros bisous

Very interesting angle with the sculpture trying to "steal" the scene!
God bless you!

Beautiful blue skies as a backdrop to this wonderful old church, must have been lovely listening to the bells as you were snapping!

Don't know about that sculpture, but have to agree about the church—one of my faves too, V.

When the Louvre was the royal palace, Saint-Germain l'Auxerrois was the royal church.

I love seeing it through your eyes and with the sculpture in front of it. I hope you'll play along with my Dreaming of France meme on Monday. Here’s my Dreaming of France meme

On dirait une barrière qui n'a pas résisté au vent.
