Wow! Fresh soft churned butter brings back memories of growing up on an Illinois farm in the depression. That was before margarine was invented. The chore of making butter with a hand-cranked churn was not fun, but the taste was so good

Do you know, I can still recollect the taste of French butter from when I was a child of 9... I've never tasted anything as delicious since. Love the pic!
