Je suis désolée

Café Nemours, one of my favorite haunts for wine or lunch at Place Colette, did not make the cut for the Paris Marathon this trip, but I did get this shot as we breezed past it last week!

Hi V,

I am thinking you never took the time to sit on this last trip!

Loved the picture of Marly in Roe.Cobblestones and all!

Thanks for the visit. We are moving when we return...ugh!

One can always count on at least a single steadfast soul on the terrace here. He looks as if he wonders what you are doing out, too. Nice perspective.

Virginia, excellent way of incorporating a little Paris rouge into this photo! Makes me wish I could sit down for a warm cup of coffee!

Pretty picture! It does look lonely out there. Great looking chairs. :)

It looks cold and lonely like that - perhaps a large coffee instead of just an espress today.

As Joe said, so little time! And I won't tell them you dissed them this trip, V. (Apparently you weren't the only one—the place looks unusually empty.)

Beautiful photo, V. I travel to Paris in March for another cooking class. I'll send you a "springtime" perspective of Café Nemours. :).

It looks like you did this trip on rollerblades, Virginia.

I thought it looked like Rue de Rivoli but I was about a block off. Lonely scene. I do not understand the economics of French cafes.

I think you've lost your zest for Paris. There is ALWAYS time for a café.
