Sunday Church Series - Gloria

Temple Marais, a protestant reform church since 1802 was formerly St. Mary of the Angels ( built in 1632).  It is rarely open to the public during the week, hence the only photograph I have.  I just LOVE the red front doors!

I´ve never been inside (well, I´ve never even tried to get inside), but the red doors are great!

Une église qui devient un Temple, ce n'est pas très courant en France. La maison de Dieu devrait être commune à toutes les religions.

It was closed when I went by --- quelle dommage! I can see from your photo that I missed out! Another reason to return to Paris!

Heaven forbid a church should be open to the public!

It's a beautiful photo to have, though. Red doors? I would adore them, i'm sure!
