I've photographed this colorful couple dancing on rue Mouffetard since 2009. He is always dressed in such unusual attire that I sometimes forget to notice what she's wearing although it seems to be white most often. I've had the opportunity to speak with some of the others but never these two. I don't think they're married but seem to meet up each Sunday and usually dance together. Maybe if I get another chance, I'll find out more!

Effectivement je trouve très agréable de s'arrêter un instant et regarder un couple danser sur souvent de vieux airs d'autrefois... Un bon et doux moment qui me rappelle mon dernier séjour parisien (en août)...
Très belle capture et à suivre!
Gros bisous
Gorgeous B&W pic I love photographing dance always so much emotion involved! Details V this could be Paris's biggest love story! :)

I always find your dancing photos intriguing. The always seem to provide a glimpse into a hidden story. The public, open air dance is a wonderful idea. J.
I hope they somehow happen upon your blog and get to see your lovely photos of them, dear V!
A very good B & W picture with lovely light.
Greetings, Joop
I can feel their energy... thank you again for taking us there!
I think they make a great dancing pair. They seem to go together like a hand and glove. Perhaps that is why you see them dancing together a lot. :)
She looks like Bette Midler!

I agree about "feeling their energy." The layers of clothing can hardly contain the deep layers of emotion...at least that's what I see:)
I found the dancing in the streets last May thanks to your blog. It was one of my favorite moments in Paris and have 3 shots from that day hanging in my office. Fun to day dream about that sunny Sunday.
Yes you can feel the energy between them, beautifully captured here Virginia.
