Mary's Paris - Les sacs à main

My friend Mary Gilbert and I have travelled together to Paris many times.  Lately she's been sneaking off without me.  She has a point and shoot camera that she's been taking the last year or so, and I have asked her to share some of her terrific photos with you from time to time.  Today a great example of knowing what to leave OUT of a shot. I asked her for the wide angle then the photo she masterfully framed.  Bravo Mar!!!

Ah,Parisian women and their handbags... A love story, assuredly. Writing a story about that right this minute in fact. Bravo Mary! Veronique (French Girl in Seattle)

I'm soooo flattered to be featured today. Virginia and my other photobug amies (you know who you are) have taught me so much about composition and capturing the moment.
FYI-the market opens Saturdays (10a) on Boul Richard Lenior north of Place de la Bastille: http://www.artistesparisbastille.fr/
There is a similar market at the foot of Tour Montparnasse (Boul Edgar Quinet) on Sundays:

I like the 'close up', but I like the long shot also.

Lovely work, Mary! I like the street shot as well for the atmosphere. Seeing both is nice for context ~ thanks, V!
