L'ancre

Square Georges Cain, named after the painter and writer who was also served as a curator of the Musée Carnavalet.  I think this is one of Paris' best kept secrets. A quiet corner in the Marais

Coup sûr qu'on a pas envie de lever l'ancre lorsqu'on vit dans ce bel endroit de Paris !
Une belle photo.
Gros bisous

A charming place in the heart of the busy Marais neighborhood. I have never noticed the anchor. Will have to take a shot of it for Le Husband during our next visit. Veronique (French Girl in Seattle)

Love the green and gold against the dun-colored wall.

Hardly qualifies as a 'square'!

If you pull the anchor does the doorbell chime?

Joe, I'll just right over and try it!
