La dame de la mosaïque

I will confess that I know nothing of this lovely mosaic on the premier étage of a building, near Shakespeare and Company. I welcome further information from my keen readers!

UPDATE:  Thanks to a nice reader, the mystery of the lady is solved. This is Polly Maggoo, a rather famous bar in the 5eme!

I don't know anything about the mosaic, but it's so particularly striking. I hope I see it next year.

In spite of its simplicity, it is amazing.

Interesting... almost missed the fine white outline of her hair, or possible a scarf

Thanks for sharing.

Beautiful mosaic. I love all the colors but most of all, I love all the different shades of blue. :)

Stunning and so striking in the deepest blues :-)

Nice mosaic! I think it has something to do with a movie from the 1960's.

I was going to try to get some info about this after my last Paris trip but I totally forgot.

Stop by Weekend Reflections because I'm reflecting on Paris. I can't wait to go back. :)

With some good facial lotion, maybe all the cracks and lines would disappear, non?

How beautiful, and what vivid color! And right next to a splendid, unique French window. I love the French windows. Just as chic as the fashions!
