No matter how often I walk familiar streets in Paris, I always seem to find new delights such as this poem with artwork on the side of this building as we neared the Panthéon.
UPDATE: Merci to Clever Pup who provided the street...rue Décartes. She also posted this wall on her great blog Smartypants Goes to France !

Une photo qui me plaît... merci de nous faire découvrir cette façade qui met à l'honneur les arbres que j'affectionne tant! Une belle oeuvre.
Ce poème est délicieux... à chacun de s'en souvenir...
gros bisous
there should be more poetry on walls, the world would be prettier...
Un joli poeme sur les arbres des villes.
This is one of the million reasons why:
L LOVE PARIS.

Another reason to go back to Paris....I missed this site to when roaming around near the Panthéon. I love street art. Warm wishes.
A delightful discovery indeed! So many fun things one sees when out and about on foot in Paris!
Great minds... I posted this one last week!
In my poorly understood French, I understand enough to make me like this poem.
Ce poème est délicieux-martinealison is right!
You must have been thrilled with this find Virginia.
And I came SO close to posting this exact thing today
(for the Thursday Challenge; theme is "creative"). I love that we appreciate the same things, V—like Paris, for instance!! :~}
Amazingly, stuff like this has begun to appear around Fort La-de-da.
I'm going to have to make an effort to find this soon! Thanks for sharing.
Hi Virginia,
Love this idea, how neat to see the Artwork and poem on the wall.
So much to see in Paris and I want to go back there again.
Happy day
Hugs
Carolyn
What a great find!
So beautiful to stumble upon such words. The famous writers, Joyce and Oscar Wilde, Hemmingway etc.etc. and so many more would be proud to see that words are valued
