Last January you will remember that Mary, Peter and I visited
Shauna von Giesbrecht's beautiful jewelry and textile
shop in Montmartre. In addition to her original jewelry that she handcrafts, she also offers some gorgeous handwoven textile designs. This red scarf in the window was almost more than I could resist. I'm hoping that one day I'll have this, or a similar one wrapped around my neck in Paris!

A beautiful item to keep you warm in Paris Virginia.

Comme les jeans : neuve et abimée. C'est la mode.
Oh! so classy - and it comes in your colour Virginia - a must have when next in Paris!
Beautiful, bright, bold RED creation! It's really artsy fartsy, V de B!
Bon weekend
She definitely had some delightful concoctions in her atelier ... I may succumb to temptation when next in Paris if she still has the teal woven jacket ... I just didn't want to take that one off! However, my dollars couldn't match her euros.
I love scarves .. that one is quite fabulous
Such a beautiful color - alive and warm.
Une superbe pièce, similaire à une oeuvre d'art...
gros bisous
One of kind, I imagine. Oui? You'd turn lots of French heads in that creation, V! (And even more American ones if you wore it here)
If you buy it, you will always have Paris Rouge wherever you are.
Hmm, I'm not sure it's my style. Of course, the red does match my eyes...
JUST MAGNIFICENT!!!!!!!! Anita
How smart of you to take a photo of that scarf! Just fantastic and I am hoping too that you will someday be able to own it..I have a friend who also makes scarves so that I am going to steal your idea of photgraphing them...thanks!
Hi Virginia,
Such a beautiful scarf and in your colour! Do hope that one day you will be wearing a fabulous scarf just like this one.
Happy weekend
Hugs
Carolyn
Well, it is YOUR rouge color. C'mon, girl, treat yourself. You deserve it.
That scarf is GORGEOUS. I am a sucker for a scarf or pashmina...I have many....and I live in a climate where I can only wear them for about a month± out of the year!
