Wonderful light and a beautiful scene from the Marais in b/w... Wish I was there right now!

Really love all the little touches you've captured Virginia, window boxes ornate lamps, and it looks so good in black and white, moody!

Salut, V!
What a romantic monochromatic photo! Ah, to stroll along a back street in Paris!
I like your new profile photo, darlink!
Bon weekend

The architecture in this photo is the epitome of Le Marais ... with it's ancient, slightly off-kilter foundations and narrow streets. I love it in B&W! And the tres modern couple walking in the midst of these old buildings is parfait! (especially her white sunglasses!)

I like this photo – it really captures the atmosphere of the area.

This could only be the Marais or the Latin Quarter, and knowing how you love the Marais....

Windows . . . flower boxes . . . hanging lights . . . nice rhythms, Virginia.

Merci everyone. I've had iPhoto issues all day today so I"m just now getting around to see your nice comments. You're right, it is the Marais, very close to Place des Vosges. I wandered here on my way home one afternoon last June. Oh to be headed back for another stay again!

I love the quite and narrow streets of Paris! Champs Elysées? Not for me!
