Our first morning in Paris last February,  and here I am drooling over these galettes de pomme!

The French phrase for window shopping is "lèche-vitirne" (to lick the window). Very fitting for the abundance of gorgeous shops that Paris offers.

Today the delightful toy shop at the Palais Royal. I'd be willing to bet that there's not one toy inside that requires batteries!

 If this basket of warm baguettes doesn't make you want to "lick the window", nothing will. Vive la boulangerie!

In 2009, we stayed in a wonderful apartment on rue Berthollet in the 5eme. Just a few doors up was a delicious boulangerie. Eva loved to have a look in the window as we passed each day.
