Paris Jaune

Parking bumper to bumper is a challenge. I call it the "French Kiss".

Paris jaune - Fondation Louis Vuitton

I visited the fabulous Fondation Louis Vuitton in 2016. I'd like to share a few more photographs from that trip with you this week. It took me several visits to Paris to finally get there,  but it was well worth the effort. I  highly recommend if you have time on your next trip to Paris.

Today I finally rejoin James' Weekend Reflections. Click HERE to see all the other wonderful images.

Paris Jaune

This pool of water flows down from the outside of the Fondation Louis Vuitton to this lower level. Peter tried his best to talk someone, anyone in "charge",  to allow us inside this area so I could get better photos but non. Regardless, I was happy with what I got through the glass walls. Merci Peter for always going the extra mile for my photography!

TODAY I HAPPILY JOIN JAMES' WEEKEND REFLECTIONS RIGHT HERE!
EVERY WEEKEND MANY TALENTED PHOTOBLOGGERS SHARE THEIR REFLECTION PHOTOS. THERE ARE SOME VERY CLEVER PHOTOS. YOU NEED TO HAVE A LOOK!

Paris jaune

Had there been room in my carryon, this cute Parisian waiter would have most definitely gone home with me!

Paris Jaune III - The Naked Lunch

Imagine my delight when I spotted this very table and chairs in Woody Allen's  Midnight in Paris!  I had just selected this photo, taken in front of Shakespeare and Company,  for a blog post.  On closer inspection I thought the book choice in the window rather amusing as well.

Un Café Jaune

Overlooking the Place Stravinsky, this charming café was too scrumptious to pass by.

I've been inspired by Nichole Robertson at Little Brown Pen here and here!
We are most definitely kindred spirits! :)

Café le Nemours

Located by the beautiful Palais Royal and Comédie Française, Café le Nemours is the perfect spot for a glass of bubbly on a warm summer afternoon, or anytime for that matter! Sit outside and admire the lovely view of Place Colette and the colorful Palais Royal-Musée du Louvre Metro station. Come back tomorrow to see that!!

Couleurs Primaires

Jardins des Plantes

You can't please all of your readers all the time but today, I'm sure I'm pleasing at least one! Starman has suggested that I do a Primary Color post. As luck would have it, I found one photo that fits the rouge, bleu, jaune theme. Pour toi, Starman!

Paris Jaune II

Yesterday I began yet another "series" here......Paris Juane! Not a color I am usually drawn to, I had serious doubts that I would be able to find much in my archives. What a nice surprise to find quite a few. Today, one I had overlooked. I love it when that happens. I posted this lovely old Hotel Chatillon previously, but I like the trés chic lady in this photograph! I think she gives the viewer a sense of the enormity of those fabulous doors!

Paris Jaune I

I've had this adorable jeune fille since my November, 2008 trip. I'm thrilled to be able to post it now!

It really does pay to comment you know. Starman requested a series in all the primary colors, and since I've done rouge et bleu, I decided to dig around in what remains of my Paris photo stash, and voilá a little jaune. Actually, I may be able to squeeze another post or two out of my findings. Merci beaucoup mon ami!
