Pardon. I know this photo was taken last winter. As most of you know, I just stroll through my photos, on almost a daily basis, to choose the photo of the day. Last night I was wandering again, and I found this, and it brought back many wonderful memories of Nemours... summer and winter. I hope you love it as much as I do.

Yes I do love it !
The light here is just gorgeous, Virginia!
Just beautiful.
I just LOVE the glow of this photo, Virginia.
Are you considering to get a photobook with small captions about your Paris published ? You really should. I would buy it for sure.
Ah the glow of evening ....
Bettina,
I have made photo books for myself but never one to sell as the price is quite steep and I don't think anyone would pay it! Maybe I'll find a way to do one for less.
I think Bettina's on to something, V.
Thanks for reminding me of a FULL day at the Louvre with my art-obsessed ex, with an escape to this very terrace for a croque monsieur and a vin blanc.
It actually looks a lot like the outdoor Nordstrom Cafe I go past every day on my lunchtime walks. It's one of the places that helps me pretend I'm in Paris!
Which I am.
Always.
In my mind.
Virginia, I can't wait to see the new shots you bring back this time! Your photos are sublime.
This is a beauty! The light/glow is just perferct. I think this is the cafe where I met Peter, n'est-ce pas?
A few thoughts of winter most welcome on this hot and humid day.
This picture is really great. I almost feel like I'm there, as you soon will be.
Oh, Virginia, my heart just melts with the golden glow in some of your pictures. Looooove them.
What a great reminder of being there in 1990, the beginning of the fin de siecle...and also...a bonding experience Jim.
We were there on a trip with Otis College of Art and Design, where I was an instructor. Students, models, faculty, the Director - all tromping around Paris together!
Golden and glowing in every way.
This place is enriched with all the scenic and striking beauty of nature with the beautiful and calm as well as an unruffled ambiance and an exquisite place as well.
