Oh what a great day of friends and fun. We started out with a quick trip to the Arc de Triomphe. Actually I've photographed it from afar but never been right there to see it in all its grandness. Just a beautiful memorial. We walked the Champs Elysees, stopping for coffee and a little shopping. Then a quick taxi ride to the Cafe Madeleine for lunch with Mary's adorable French teacher Cecile. Next, Au Printemps for a whirlwind trip through that fabulous store. We met bloggers Alice (Arradon DP) and Peter (Peter's Paris) for tea and macarons at Laduree nearby. What fun to get to see Alice again! We headed to rue St. Honore and stopped at Colette. What a store! After a short respite at the apartment, we took the bus to the Marais to meet our friend Richard Nahem, founder of http://www.eyepreferparis.com/. We ended the evening with a great pizza at a neighborhood cafe.
Bonne nuit!

Such a thrill to follow your days in Paris......
I only wish I were there for all of those little café stops!
Virginia: Somehow I missed looking at the blog until tonight...oh my what a treat! Just wish I was there too. Thanks for all your wonderful commentary and photos; love them all!
P.S. My Pierre Deux lamp est arrivee and is magnifique!
what a day! Sounds like so much FUN!
Never a dull moment there. Never. We're headed for the desert this weekend for a different kind of R & R.
Wow I can hardly keep up with you! I'm so glad you're packing so much fun into your trip and not letting the cold stop you. Lovely photos of a very fun-looking group.
«Louis» wishes he had known you were going to see Richard! Richard lives near where «Louis» lived in Paris, but «Louis» didn't know that when he lived there. He met Richard when Richard was on a trip to San Francisco after «Louis» returned to California. Give Richard «Louis'» best regards!
"4 minis macarons, chocolat, pistache, citron, framboise et un thé à la violette, s'il vous plait!" Oh yes, Virginia, it was nice to see you again and to meet your lovely Mary(s).
The next time, don't forget to enjoy the view from the top of l'Arc de Triomphe!
What fun you had, but who is who in the photos?! The only face I recognise apart from yours in dear Peter's.
Alice,
Moi aussi mon cher amie! Pour petite dejeuner deux macrons.......
smushed !
We slept in today. The Parisien QUeens are pooped. Off to lunch on rue Mouffetard later .

You're making the most of every moment, V ~ I'm so happy for you! Violet tea with your macarons? I've never heard of violet tea, but it sounds very French and lovely!
Some warm day, you must go to the top for a great view of Paris.
You guys are so lucky to get all together! Where are Eric and Laurent? I envy you all. Have a fabulous time!
Oh yes, you must go to the top! I had a nice little asthma attack outside of the gift shop after climbing all those stairs. Round and round and round and round they went...was not fun...but totally worth it when I walked out on the roof!!!
Sounds like another busy fun filled day! I don't blog, but it sure is fun to meet bloggers.
I looked at ALL the photos! You are something... Traveling with you is such a pleasure.
Bonne nuit to you my friend! Keep the beautiful photos coming our way!!! With you in spirit!
So! Envious!!!
Thanks for the names, Virginia! Great to know who everyone is.
Wow what a fun filled day, with so many wonderful people...and Peter and Richard. I haven't met either, but Peter calls into my blog.
Oh how I miss Paris and walking round with my wonderful friends there!
What fun! Wish we two bloggers could have been there too!
You didn't go to the top??? OK, next time we are all there together... ;-)

Isn't it fun to meet fellow bloggers, and meet them AGAIN!
