French Stranger 54
Believe it or not, I took these two photos within minutes of each other. The petite jeune fille was sitting at the table next to ours. Her adorable smile with that green balloon had us all snapping away. Madame was making some delicious crepes at a nearby stand. I got lucky this day!

You made the most of your luck here, Virginia ~ how beautiful they are!
That woman is so very handsome. Look at the intensity in those eyes and that internalised smile.
Gorgeous.
Now you've messed up my count because I thought you were leaving on the sixth.
Starman,
You don't know how funny that really is. I'm leaving here the 6th but don't leave for Paris till the 7th and arrive in Paris on the 8th in the a.m. Earlier this week i had it in my hear incorrectly too! I thought you left on the 9th. We both need a keeper!
Julie ,
I thought so too.
Shsh,
The calendar is on it's way!
That little one is sure to bring a smile to the face of anyone who sees this image! Excellent capture, Virginia!
Wonderful portraits Virginia...xv
Love your French strangers series, and these are superb! Am really really looking forward to your upcoming trip, you lucky %#&^* (oops, did I say that out loud?). Seriously—enjoy (and share)!
Wheeeeee!! Thanks so much, V ~ I'll have my little nose pressed up to the mail box eagerly awaiting your gorgeous calendar. Lucky me, lucky me! x
Both photos are beautiful, they're full of sincerity. Magnifique!
Both beautiful shots!
It seems Troyes is the place to go these days! My parents went there and my cousin and family like to camp there on their travels! I'd never even heard of it before you mentioned it...
This is one of my favorite pictures!!! Sistah has some stories to tell! Love that knowing smile hinting at her lips!
