Sadly tomorrow we leave Paris. What a wonderful time we've had visiting with friends and seeing everything we possibly could. We walked a million miles and loved every minute of it.
Paris, a bientot!
V
I've added this photo so you could see the names etc.

Au revoir, Paris. :`(
Parting is such sweet sorrow.
Gees, and I thought our visit was short. Ah well, better short than not at all. BTW, I came home and caught a cold. How's that for irony?
ET Suz,
Oh yes it is. :( Waaaaaaaaaaaaa
Starman,
Well I have a Paris cold to take home with me! :)

I have enjoyed every moment of this, VJ. Thank you so very much for taking us along with you.
I wish you a happy return flight and the peace and quiet to recover from what ever bug ails you.
Take care, my friend.
I'm hoping that the missing patisseries in the photo are the ones you guys bought before you snapped the photo!
Safe travels.
Au revoir Viriginia, see you next time you come.
And make sure you check Sunday's photo on PDP ;-)
We know you hate to leave, but it will be nice to have you back home, too!
V, Except for the sore feet I feel as if I've walked every step with you. Thanks for taking me / us along once again. Safe travels - kill that bug with vino before you depart!
Ah, I love this photo. I'll take one of each of these perfect pastries please! Safe travels back home; I know you'll be very sad to leave Paris.
It seems like one more wonderful trip Virginia! And you met so many people...
And thank you for showing the renovated columns of Buren...
I know from experience that one week is not nearly enough. But as Starman says, it's better than no Paris at all!
this looks soooo good!
& I am glad you had a wonderful time.
Until next time, safe trip home!
I wish you a good trip home. See you soon!
Thanks so much for a wonderful vicarious voyage to Paris! You certainly packed a lot in. Am looking forward to more photos—and also to Eric's post for Sunday!
(Did you catch a cold? My wv is achoonin!)
I agree with Harriet -- hope that you drowned your sorry at leaving in delicious goodies!
Thanks for sharing your adventures! Safe home, V.
Bon Voyage and come back soon! Thanks for the trip - loved taking it with you and also having a couple of chats on the telephone.
You are a magnifique tour guide de Paris!!! I feel like I exended my day in Paris by your pics and descriptions!!! Thank you for taking us all along!!!
As for the tummy bug...I've found a magic pill that wards off tummy bugs and lessens their impact whence they get past the flora....Natren's Healthy Trinity...(think they'll give me compensation for my plug???) I took it on a daily basis during my travels, and do regularly at home as well, and have managed to avoid all those bugs that my hubby, friends and strangers have caught and tried to pass along to me!!!
Virginia, we couldn't have asked for a better "staff photographer" and roommate. We had ourselves a ball now didn't we? Thanks for introducing us to Eric (The DP Pope) and to sweet Alice. Always fun to be with Peter, Barbara and Richard and to be able to introduce you to Anne and her parents.
I'm off to the store to buy some Natren's Healthy Trinity - merci Chieftess!
xx,
M (Ohio) & M (Indiana)
With Mary's note, I see that you guys made it across the ocean. I guess you're still in flight to B'ham. Glad that the 'stand-by' worked this time.
We'll just be patiently waiting for more photos and stories about your trip.
Je suis arrivé ! I made all THREE flights today. It's 10:30 pm CST, and I just got home. I missed you all but admit it was sad leaving this morning, or was it yesterday or last night or??????
Off to a hot bath and bed!
Bonne nuit,
V
Sleep well Virginia, and I hope you recover from jetlag quickly enough.
I'll have one each of those wonderful patisseries, thanks!
What a way to say Au Revoir! I'm sorry it was over at the speed of light, but glad you're home again safe and sound. Sleep tight and I hope your dreams are even a smidge as sweet as your photos, V!
