La fleuriste

This florist in Montmartre had found a way to make these old pipes much more charming outside of the shop.

Fleurs à Paris

Walking home from Sunday mass at the Vâl de Grace on rue Claude Bernard, I caught Madame Christine Bawedin putting out her lovely flowers at her fleuriste. She was kind enough to let me photograph her and the inside of her shop.

Beaucoup de fleurs

Bienvenue to one of the most over the top florist shops in Paris. Every square inch seems to be filled with flowers of all kinds. What a delight.

Un Petit Bouquet Pour Vous

L'artisan Fleuriste

Yesterday I had the pleasure of presenting my photo talk, Les Fleurs à Paris, to the Rockbrook Garden Club. I thought I'd share one of the images with you as well.

Dimanche rue Mouffetard

After watching my Parisian friends dancing down by the church on rue Mouffetard, we slowly made
our way up the hill.  We poked around in a few shops,  took a lot of photos and then I spotted Zinc des Fleurs.  Of course I had to stop in and say, "Bonjour Monsieur!" as the owner, Hervé,  is one of my French Strangers from many years ago.  As always he was smiling and welcoming and when I spotted these fabulous roses he said, "Put your nose in those." I did.  Heavenly.

Patrick Allain?

Peut-être

Patrick Allain Fleuriste  has been in this charming shop for 25 years right on the rue de la St. Louis.  Paris Breakfast and Shell Sherree have paid homage with their delightful artwork as well.  Proof that even in the middle of janvier,  Paris blooms!

Le chat du fleuriste

This is what caught my eye in the window.

This is what I found when I opened the door.  The owner even let her go outside for a walk and  to say hello to Mary!

Nobody ever has to remind me to be HAPPY in Paris!

Les fleurs et la réflexion

rue Claude Bernard
I just loved the buildings reflected in the shop window. Almost like a garden growing in front of them.

Merci to my friend Vicki Archer who shared this French artist on her blog, French Essence this week.

Bienvenue!

Nothing says welcome like a 'carpet' of rose petals.  This lovely little flower shop makes it very hard to resist stepping inside!
