Begs the question...

How did the owner get the box up there and how do they ever water it???

Un Petit Bouquet Pour Vous

L'artisan Fleuriste

Yesterday I had the pleasure of presenting my photo talk, Les Fleurs à Paris, to the Rockbrook Garden Club. I thought I'd share one of the images with you as well.

Boutiques Parisiennes Series - L'artisan Fleuriste

While in Paris last January, I visited quite a few florists for a magazine assignment.  While in the Marais, photographer Carla Coulson took me to her favorite florist, L'artisan Fleuriste.  The handsome owner was very gracious to show me around and allow a quick portrait.

Patrick Allain?

Peut-être

Patrick Allain Fleuriste  has been in this charming shop for 25 years right on the rue de la St. Louis.  Paris Breakfast and Shell Sherree have paid homage with their delightful artwork as well.  Proof that even in the middle of janvier,  Paris blooms!

Les Orchidées

Today a charming flower shop that displayed these beautiful orchids in their window. Sometimes, the simple windows are a nice change from all the holiday hoopla!

Les Fleurs de Paris

The Paris Flower Market/Bird Market

One of the many things I love about Paris has to be the FLOWERS! Everywhere you turn there are flowers on balconies, streetside, in flower shops and even a small vase with just a few blooms on your table at even the smallest café.

The streetside displays from the corner flower shop were always so gorgeous!
I wanted that bucket with the pale pink roses !!!!

Fleuriste

Located on rue Claude Benard, this very Parisian flower shop was a block from our apartment. One Sunday morning while I was walking to the Val de Grace for services, I spotted the owner putting out her flowers.  We had a nice chat,  and she let me snap some photographs .  My 100 French Stranger # 22!
