Grosses boules

Believe it or not, I've run into the same bubble maker at the Hôtel de Ville two separate trips!. There's always a gaggle of kiddos trying to catch the enormous bubbles while I"m trying mightily to shoot them before they pop!

The giant bubble makers are usually always in the plaza in front of th Hôtel de Ville.  I often get so absorbed in capturing the bubbles, I don't notice the children who are delighted as well.

On November 1st, I posted a photograph of two young girls popping giant bubbles at the Hôtel de Ville. Many have asked what was used to produce these delights. Here is the young man, who with a shallow pan, a jug of bubble solution, two sticks and some string, produce these rainbow colored bubbles to the amazement of young and old!

Ephemeral - Lasting for a short time

 Well this was a tough theme this month but as I scrolled through my images I found this. As I was snapping madly trying to capture these gigantic bubbles at the Hôtel de Ville, these two jeune filles were madly trying to pop them. I think I got lucky on this one! Bubbles, lasting a very short time.
