La nuit dernière à Pais

The last day/night in Paris, I find myself in overdrive, trying to squeeze every single image i can shoot to capture the bittersweet moments that I know are ticking away.

Along the quai

These large iron rings were used to tie river barges to the quai. I had some photography here on my last visit.

Coucher de soleil sur la Seine

Passerelle Debilly, footbridge built in 1900. Peter and I spent some time on and under this bridge with our Meredith Mullin's street photography workshop.

Temps Orageux

As is often the case when I visit Paris, the weather is..... well Paris! We love it when it drizzles, n'est-pas?

Aujourd'hui Françoise Hardy has just the perfect  chanson pour vous!

Dimanche sur le quai

Normally I would have chosen black and white, but for some reason the pops of color made it more interesting for me. Your opinion?

Paris Rouge XLVIII - Le Sac à Main

What better way to spend a warm afternoon along the Seine. I toyed with black and white, but her great handbag was too good to pass up.

Dimanche Matin Avec Papa

How delightful to be able to skate along the Seine on a Sunday morning, with la Tour Eiffel in the distance!  Paris, j'adore.

An Afternoon Along the Seine

This next trip I'm going to really try and do less sightseeing and find more time to just sit and relax and just BE in Paris. This looks like a good place to start. An afternoon just enjoying a glass of wine, maybe a baguette et fromage along the banks of the Seine. Who knows, maybe I'll meet some nice new friends here.

Un Après-Midi Sur La Seine

Taken last June on my wonderful evening spent with American/Parisian photographer Meredith Mullins.

Note to self: Next trip......a bottle of champagne needs to be uncorked right here!

Coucher de Soleil - Votre Choix

I took these photographs of the sun setting on the Seine the evening I spent with photographer Meredith Mullins. As I pondered which to share with you today, I couldn't decide which I preferred. So today, un petit cadeau pour toi, enjoy the one you like best. I hope I never tire of this delicious view.

An Evening With Meredith Mullins

Watching

Once in a lifetime. That's how I feel about my evening spent with American photographer/writer Meredith Mullins. I fell in love with IN A PARIS MOMENT a few years ago and have followed her since. Her name might sound familiar. Check my sidebar. Long story short, I heard she was now living in Paris and teaching, so I contacted her before I came. We met for the first time last night, but I felt like I'd known her forever. We laughed at the similar photos we've taken and when we hit the streets at Ile St. Louis, her Parisian neighborhood, many times we both saw a "shot" and eyed each other. I learned so much from her last night. I hope if I 'm ever lucky enough to return to Paris, we can work together again. I'm certain we'll stay in touch.
