Le propriétaire
Meet Georges, along with wife Odette, the propriétaires of Aux Vieux Paris d'Arcole. This very photogenic, and old restaurant (1564) is just steps from Cathédrale Notre Dame. Although I've never dined here, I have taken many photographs over the years. This morning, Peter wanted to deliver a some artwork from a fellow blogger so we were able to go inside before opening hours and meet Georges. As you can see, he is a most charming and friendly Parisian.

Smoke Break

A very common sight in Paris. This Bofinger waiter in the Bastille, was grabbing a few quick drags. Paris has banned smoking inside but outside, it's business as usual!

Deux Conversations
An Afternoon at the Bois de Boulogne
The title today is thanks to my dear friend Jilly ( Monte Carlo/Menton DP). Yesterday I shared this photo with her, and she commented that actually it was two conversations, between lady and gentleman, and also the birds! I completely missed that. Merci Jilly!

At the Medici Fountain
Ahh, the famous Medici Fountain at Luxembourg Gardens is something you must see. I regret I don't have a great shot of the entire fountain and pool. It was hard to elbow my way through the throngs of tourists that wanted their photo taken in FRONT of it! (WHY???) Well, I found the people seated all around it, enjoying the beautiful day, very interesting. Today a few portraits as well!
