Sometimes the photographer has to lay the camera down and savor the moment. There wasn't much water in the fountain, but the rain had stopped and the sun was out at the Palais Royal. I was exceedingly grateful to be in that place on such a beautiful Sunday in Paris.
Virginia, is that you relaxing in the chair? I love this photo.

Reconnaissante, as you should be. Reconnaissants, as we all are, to you, for taking all these great shots of Paris... :-) Veronique (French Girl in Seattle)
ReplyDeleteA wonderful way to spend an afternoon.
ReplyDeleteIsn't it true? Yesterday we headed out to the country and to explore a new village that we had never been to and I made a conscious choice to LEAVE THE CAMERA AT HOME. It felt really good! :)
ReplyDeleteHow nice that someone else snapped a photo of you. Glad you had a chance to put your feet up and enjoy the sunshine.
ReplyDeleteA few minutes break is nice!! ... and then, up and photographing again! :-)
