In all the cemeteries I've visited in Paris, there have always been these lovely porcelain flowers, wreaths and crosses on the graves. I think as they age and darken, they become more beautiful. In January, as we walked Père Lachaise again, I spotted this moss growing amongst the petals.
I wonder how some of them were broken?
ReplyDeleteOh gosh, V, this is so lovely. A little wonderland in a special place. Bon dimanche to you and Meepsie, my sweet.

ReplyDeleteA breath of spring ...
ReplyDeleteWhat a fabulous eye to have spotted the moss between the petals. I, too, have been fascinated by these. Nice shot!
ReplyDeleteThat pink colour really stands out. Simply gorgeous.
ReplyDeleteI rather like the porcelain flowers too—but I love the way some real greenery has insinuated itself here. Nice capture, V!
ReplyDeleteThese have always fascinated me as well, and have myself taken numerous photos of them. The little church cemetery in our town has numerous ones, some very very old and very ornate.
ReplyDeleteI guess in this instance your photo proves with time nature will prevail. Lovely!
