I'll have any macaron. Is there really such a thing as a bad-tasting macaron? How bad could it be? It's just like tasting jelly bellies. I like them to surprise me... Veronique (French Girl in Seattle)
Food always looks so appetizing in France. The French seem to have a way of presenting food and desserts that are very pleasing to the eye and these macarons are no exception! Striking display!! :)
Well it looks like mes amis have very different tastes in macarons. That's as it should be. And for the record, I love just one at a sitting and lean towards my friend Alain's tastes.
As I don't generally eat sweet desserts I've only had one & it was at Dalloyau across from Jardin du Luxembourg...They are a little institution, aren't they?
Chocolat/fleur de sel and vanille. Thank you! :o)

Je préfère la framboise!

ReplyDeleteI love the macarons towers in the windows of the Parisian pâtisseries. My favourite flavour is pistache.
