Way back in the dark ages when I last visited Paris I loved the outdoor cafes under those vaulted ceilings ... tho I doubt any place I ate at back then is still open
I do remembere sitting here for several hours last September. Virginia: I haven't been to your site in ages....so much to catch up on. I adore it. You just may be the only blog who can carry off the black background! it works well here! Anyway, I'll be back often now. When are you going again? No Paris for me this year, but to Provence in September...

ReplyDeleteI always love a reason to visit Europe!
You must have taken this in winter—they have lots of heaters out there! Nice, though, to dine on the terrace in any weather, n'est-ce pas?

ReplyDeleteHmmm, the location is great, but am I allowed to suggest that it doesn't need the cartoon character? Sincerely, Mr. Curmudgeon.
ReplyDeleteBased on the location, I guess the quiche du jour and main entrees were tres chers, non?!

ReplyDeleteI so love Place des Vosges.
ReplyDeleteIs M. Gilbert, Marquis de la Fayette holding the menu?
ReplyDeleteOne of the items in the menu says Filet de baz "a la plancha". This is Spanish for grilled.
ReplyDeleteI love this shot, Miss Virginia!
