Artiste au travail

Last January, you may remember that we rented the most fabulous apartment from New York/Paris artist and now very dear friend, Janeen Koconis.  Janeen's apartment also doubles as her studio, and she graciously allowed me to poke around and take some photos. Today, I share one with you.  The place where the KocoNewYork  magique happens!

  3. How kind of Janeen to allow us to have a little peek into her creative space. I love this scene with the gorgeous view in the background. It must take some focus to concentrate on the work at hand with that scenery just a raised glance away!

  4. Ah, this is probably my favorite spot in Paris... or next door in the twin apartment. The view of Église Saint Roch through the open window is gorgeous inspiration.

    Wonderful shot, V!

  8. What is it about Paris apartments?? they just always seem to be special, this looks fabulous Virginia, can see the little balcony through the windows, the apartment we stayed in was similar and it was just wonderful to stand and observe everyday French life going on below, lots of car honking and excitable chatter, I loved it! Also what an amazing view you had out of your window, what a dramatic silhouette of the church.

  11. What Shell said. Don't know if I'd be distracted or inspired—probably a bit of both. It's a wonderful photo of an inviting spot, V. Love the light.

  13. Virginia, everything about your blog is perfect today. The banner photo is marvelous, and its black-amber-gold color scheme works with your blog theme and with today's outstanding photo. (Love the grill from the balcony!) Virginia, you are a styling diva!
