Lovely view of Parisian roofs-- one that you earn when climbing all these stairs! Well done, V. -- Veronique (French Girl in Seattle)
That wire cross against the white sky seems to be sending its sermon bouncing across the roof tops of Paris clanging against the tiles.
Virginia, honey, we already knew you have all of Paris at your feet. (Nice.)
A good rest and a great view before going up the stairs again !
You certainly have the "golden touch" when it comes to taking photos. And to think, if everything goes according to plan, I'll be there in October!
Another wonderful Paris photo. What a view.
That is some view! Beautiful and inspiring. :)
Only in Paris (well, maybe Rome too) can you capture a photo of a church from the window of another... Love this shot of Paris with the tower of Église Saint-Pierre de montmartre surrounded by the rooftops. Perfect in b/w.
Wonderful composition shot and I like a lot the title in this post.B&w is a great choice, a feeling of "vintage", the old good memories always!
Congrats,
Léia
I am proud of you for climbing up there! After getting to the top of the Arc de Triomphe ...I realized my limitations! This is such a pretty shot.
Worth the climb for sure—what a great shot! At first I thought this was black and white, but then I noticed a couple of reddish roofs.
Beautiful view of the Parisian roof tops.. You have a true gift with the camera.
fondly,
Penny
Jack,
Merci, but I think I"m at Paris' feet! :)
I cannot believe that you are making some sort of apology for thinking that you are boring us with more tales of your Sacre Coeur trips. NEVER! Keep posting V. Merci.
Al, I can't reach you via the link. You still blogging?

This is BEAUTIFUL!!!! And what make me so happy is that I will be right here in October. Can't wait!
That’s a stunning view you got up there. Is that a church steeple on the middle? I love it that you had it on focus. The roof on the left is very interesting. If I was the one up there, I would’ve been tempted to step foot on the roof and walk through the stair-like shingles on the side of roof. Lol!
Kip Whitehead
Kip, that is a tower attached to the Sacre Coeur , I THINK. It's a long way up to be roof top walking. :)
Glad you visited. Come back soon.

I haven’t been to Paris, but touring the city is one of my biggest dreams! Oh, the city view is just marvelous. I hope I can also see that with my own eyes. Well, I’m still young. I know I will be able to fulfill my dream of being there! ;)
Eugene Head
Nice photo! This reminds me of the movie “Chasing Liberty” wherein Mandy Moore and Matthew Goode jumped up on the roof of Liberty City Tree Building in Prague overlooking the crowd watching a concert. My wife told me she wants to try it as well. Haha. I’m not sure if we have a chance to do that, but if ever, of course, I’m willing to try. ;)
Lino Kosters
Lino, I say go for it. I climbed this twice and pretty sure that is it for me!
@Lino: Yeah, go for it! I’m sure you and your wife will have a great time. She will really be happy if you accomplished it together! You don’t have to go to such a lavish place like Prague. You will truly enjoy the view of the city even if you’re on top of a typical commercial building! ;)
