Le loquet
Peter takes me to the prestigious Bibliothèque Nationale de France Paris de Richelieu, and I become fixated on this beautiful old latch on the window upstairs in the museum. I have no shame.

Ca en valait la peine. It was worth it. Great shot. I know Peter understands :-) Veronique (French Girl in Seattle)
It does look unique and intricate
That would catch my eye too!
Beautiful, very unusual...I love it! :)
The building with its architectural details is exquisite and I love this elaborate latch.
This image has a dreamlike quality, Virginia. Nice. I can see it as a book cover for a mystery.
Oh, please remain shameless, V!
But it's beautiful! No wonder it caught your attention. Love it, and great photo!
I also have a picture of a similar one. I love the magic that a single object can have :0
Beautiful! Do I see Le Galerie Colbert down there?
