Up rue de l'Arbalète

In June, 2009, we made this walk every day on our way from the Censier Daubenton metro!

The Long Walk Home

In June of 2009, we stayed in an apartment near here. Every afternoon we made the long walk from the Mètro and market, up rue de l'Arbalète and then up rue Claude Bernard.  Laden with groceries ( and much wine) it was a slow walk.  Melissa and I often commented on how much we missed our cars!  By then the children were tired too and most days, Davis had a meltdown right here.  It's funny now, but at the time... not so much. I believe one day I mumbled something about pulling the cork out of one of the bottles with my teeth, sitting right there on the curb, and drinking it!  De bons souvenirs.
