The Musée d'Orsay, the former Gare d'Orsay has fortunately kept the open feel of its former life as a railway station , and its fabulous clocks! With an extensive collection of Impressionist paintings this museum should be at the top of your list. It's smaller than la Louvre, and I've always found it to be very easy to navigate and enjoy!
