We have been fortunate that for the  last few years, our flat and our Metro stop was near this beautiful store. We especially love the convenience of La Grande Epicerie next door.

Sadly, my first visit to Paris in 2007 was after the grand magasin, La Samaritaine, had already closed so I never experienced her former glory. This last trip, I was thrilled to see that she is now under renovations. Click here to see what's planned. Built in 1869, this Art Deco beauty will be brought back to life in new and exciting ways. The reopening is planned for 2018, so  I"m hoping to see it!

A blue sky day in Paris is always an occasion to celebrate. With Printemps exquisite dome is even better.

Printemps, Le Grand Magasin Indeed!

I love Printemps. I'm not much of a shopper in Paris,  but I never tire of photographing this wonderful place from the street. Today, a double dose with the header as well.  I will now have the pleasure of sharing my recent photos with you.  It was a week packed with fun, friends,  new Paris moments and a 11GB of memory cards!
