Village de Noël

This shop on rue Butte- aux- Cailles, was still dressed for Christmas.  It was closed that day so we couldn't go in and poke around.

Délices Pour Les Enfants

Admittedly, this is from my November 2008 visit,  but I wanted to share it once again as I thought the windows at the fabulous Galeries Lafayette were just over the top wonderful for the young and old!

Pinkified in Paris

Well Eric got me started last week when he featured the gorgeous Galeries Lafayette on his blog. It brought back all of the wonderful sights from last November's trip when we saw it in all of its megawatt splendor at night. I loved the store windows decorated to the hilt for the children. (They even had a little ramp in front of each for them to stand on. See above.). Today a few of the windows. This also brought back some nice memories of the delightful animated windows in downtown Birmingham's Loveman's and Pizitz when I was growing up.

Galeries Lafayette

Today is City Daily Photo Theme Day - Circles/Spheres.  In keeping with my photo of the magnificent dome of Galeries Lafayette, I am posting more photos here of their fabulous decorations inside and out.  The French really know how to deck the halls!  Enjoy.
