The lady in black just took a photo of the lady in red and is sending it to her Red Hat society friends with this caption : as far as fashion goes, the French beat us every time!
La Française et l'Américaine? ;-) (I know, I know, bad, bad French Girl!) -- Véronique (French Girl in Seattle) PS: Really, my first thought was: "OMG, she is wearing my coat." (I just bought the exact same one in Paris during the Holidays.)
The Woman In Red just did a drop pass to the Woman In Black, passing along vital government secrets, but their DGSE followers failed to catch the moment, being momentarily distracted by the model on the poster beyond them.
The chick in red is walking fast because she got hold of some bad formage and is about to pay the price. She has a younger Austrian lover who is waiting for her. He loves it when she wears rouge, and the umbrella and hat will send him into orbit cause he has a thing for rain gear. Hurry girl.
Love what everyone has contributed. Your shot shows more proof that you can have too much (or too little) of a good thing. And to the chic young woman in black, I say: Put down that bloody phone and enjoy your beautiful city!
Madam Noir has just received a text message which reads "What are you doing in Paris? I thought you said meet me in Rome!".
ReplyDeleteLa madame texting a left-handed compliment.

ReplyDeleteThe lady in red looks like she could have a sister here.... in Belgrade.
ReplyDeleteAnd maybe the caption could be, "Three Stages of Dress...or Undress," given the poster behind the young woman.

The lady in black (American) sending an unfortunate text to her fiance (also American), "Just so you know...I have fallen in love ...not with another man...so sorry... but I can never return because to leave this beautiful City of Lights would break my heart in a million little pieces...Avoir...my heart belongs to Paris!"
ReplyDeleteP.S. Just found your lovely blog---thank you for sharing your amazing Paris photos...and yes...I totally agree...to see Paris only once is to leave behind your heart there forever!! So true!
