I spotted this man in silhouette at the other side of this tunnel. I took some shots and then I think he spotted me. Shortly, he walked into the tunnel and came in and out of sight, always seeming to keep me in sight. Something told me I needed to turn and leave the quai. Sometimes I listen to that inner voice.
Love the view through Virginia, is that really the tops of the trees seen through the arch. So tall.
ReplyDeleteWhere's this tunnel in Paris???? I want to see it myself and take a picture)
ReplyDeleteCela pourrait être le début d'un roman intitulé " L'homme sous le pont..."
ReplyDeleteQuite an appealing passageway.
ReplyDeleteBelle prise de vue !
ReplyDeleteAlways best to listen to your inner voice, n'est-ce pas? But I'm glad you got this shot first!
ReplyDeleteThose tunnel lights remind me of those cartoon thought bubbles ... except there's no thought. Perfect!
ReplyDeleteSofia Che, this is the bridge that connects the Left Bank to the Louvre.
ReplyDeleteA bit spooky!
ReplyDeleteThat certainly adds some mood to the photo!!
ReplyDeleteand i also love how the tunnel lights seem to point a line to him.
ReplyDeleteIt is a nice composition. I can see why you framed it this way. And, yes, moving away was probably the right call. As a big man, I never had to think much about intimidation, but now as a big old man, I imagine I will need to start being more careful.
