Le joueur d'orgue

We continue on our little trip to the grande brocante. Today, another bright spot, the organ grinder.  He was a happy fellow and some even danced. Mary and I did not.

I've included a BW and color photo in a feeble attempt to please all of the readers all of the time. HA!

  4. What a wonderful experience! Shades of so long ago. In all my years of living in France I have yet to come across Monsieur Organ Grinder.

  5. Looks wonderful no matter how you color him! How delightful -- I've yet to meet an organ grinder, but I'd love to! Seems so classic!

  7. With all the gloom and doom in the USA what a refreshing and uplifting sight to start my day. Thank you for this photo. It is a gentleman like this that is a true artist and teacher.

  9. Your "feeble" (not!) attempt worked with me. I love his face—and his jaunty casquette!

  11. There used to be an organ man who walked around the streets of the 12é with his daughter. I think I'm the only one in our block who gave them money.

  12. There is a great face for you! This time I prefer the black and white, probably because you came in closer and eliminated everything except the intriguing face.
