  3. Stunning, V! Starman is right. What a treat to enjoy live music here in summer, when the long daylight hours make this place even more special. Bon dimanche to you!

  5. Oh, yes, those windows, those windows...when I was there, I shared the experience with many, many tourists & I admit I got distracted...So it is nice to see the pure beauty in your photo, merci, Rita

  6. Virginia,
This is one of my favourites.
I was in awe when we went to the chapel and I took many pictures. We have one of the images printed in large format and it hangs framed in our home. Every time I look at it I feel like I'm back in that beautiful chapel, which in itself is like stepping back in time.

  7. This is one of my favorite places in Paris. The first time I walked in, I came from below -- I went up the narrow stone spiral staircase that had a sign showing a body pitched forward, saying "risque de trebuchement." I clutched the rail. And then walked into this amazing, ethereal space. I imagine you've heard a concert here -- doesn't matter if they are playing the lollipops -- it is so acoustically perfect, and to sit and hear this music while watching the light gently diminish. Gasp. What a lovely memory you have brought me this Sunday morning.

  8. I LOVE this image. I'm going to Paris in May and cannot wait to see this in person. Pictures say so much, and you captured it beautifully.

  9. This is something not to be missed! Once you climb the very tiny wooden stairs you enter into what can only be described as walking into a giant Kaleidoscope! Simply beautiful.
