This is ONE painting I absolutely can't stand.... It really gives me the creeps and I cannot fathom how anyone could wish to have this Munch in their house! The breakfast set however looks fantastic; I'm just back from a scrumptious 'déjeuner' right next to the Jardin du Luxembourg and it was heaven on a (several) plates!!! And the sun sent a ray or two out for us to enjoy before Hero Husband drove off to go abroad and I returned happily to our home. THIS is a lovely way to celebrate Sundays; going to church in the morning, have a glorious meal at around 1pm, walk for a while, then go home and lie down for a short moment with a great book - bliss!

ReplyDeleteI use a "The Scream" mouse pad at work. Couldn't be more appropriate.

I see it! And I'd like to gobble it up—miam! (Did you ask if you could take a picture of his food, V?) :~}
ReplyDeleteYou are so right. Very clever, Miss Virginia.
ReplyDeleteMunch - an appropriate term here V.
ReplyDeleteOh, I can almost taste it, with butter and jam -
ReplyDeleteYou're so right! I didn't see The Scream til you mentioned it, but now I can't not see it. Only one way to fix that- eat all that delicious brioche.
