Dans l'herbe

The Musée du quai Branly, one of Paris' newer museums displays collections of objects from African, Asian, Oceanian and American civilizations.  Opened in 2006, it sits along the Seine with la Tour Eiffel close by.  A nice friendship.

  1. A unique building (love the landscaped façade...) Had a memorable dinner at the chic "Les Ombres" restaurant inside the museum a couple of years ago. We happily sat by the window and watched the Eiffel Tower sparkle during dinner. Quite the experience! Veronique (French Girl in Seattle)

  2. I love the angle and the long grasses in front. I never would have guessed you were at a museum though. You've found another one I haven't visited. I'm going need about a year to discover all the wonderful places you've highlighted.
